Let's get straight to the point. I'm currently reading Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. Yes, yes the Eat, Pray, Love lady.
And basically it's about living a creative life and not feeling like you have to sacrifice yourself at the alter of the Tortured Artist to do so. That living creatively is not always about quitting your sensible day job to pursue a dream but figuring out what you like to create and creating it. And not worrying if it'll change the world or help people or get you famous. But creating because it's what humans do. We create. It's good for the "soul" (my brother Jesse would know why soul is in quotation marks there but that's a blog post for another day).
And this is what I like creating.
Rando blog posts about things that no longer wanna live in my head and have decided that a corner of the internet would be a more delightful post code.
So, this isn't a promise of how regular I'll post or what I'll write about.
It's just an acknowledgement of my wanting to live a more creative life and that the first thing I thought about creating (besides babies... once again... a whole other blog post) are posts on here.
